In this example, I show a very basic simple kitchen remodel. In order to save money, this customer chose to trim and paint the kitchen themself. This kitchen included mid-grade cabinets,floating hardwood floors,stainless steel sink,mid-grade faucet,and mid-grade hardware. This client was trying to sell there home, and had the home listed at $170,000 for over 8 months with only one very low offer. Upon our first meeting the clinet told me there budget and asked what I could do to make there house sell as fast as possible. My response was remodel the kitchen! In todays market , kitchen and bathroom remodels not only add the most value to your house, they also make your house stick out from the rest. Although the client chose the most economicial kitchen I offer, they were still able to sell there house only 30 days after I started the project. In this case, the homeowner chose to paint not only the new kitchen, but also the entire interior of the home. After I finished i told the homeowner it would be in his best interest to have his home appraised as I felt that his asking offer was too low now that he had a new kitchen and new paint throughout. The relator told my client to list the house at $200,000, and that he was very confident that the house would now sell very fast. After only less then a $5,000 total investment and only 3 weeks, they had 2 couples bidding and finally sold the home for $204,000.
